Who is responsible for your data?

The data controller is NJ TRANSPORT, a sole proprietorship run by Nicolas Jayet under the trading name Nice Airport Transfer. For any question: contact@niceairporttransfer.fr.

What data do we collect?

• When you book: name, e-mail, telephone, pickup and destination addresses, date and time, flight or train number, number of passengers and items of luggage, special requests (child seats, for example).
• When you write to us through the contact form, by e-mail or by WhatsApp: your contact details and the content of your message.
• When you browse: technical data (IP address, browser type, pages viewed) and the cookies described below.

We do not collect sensitive data and we do not store your bank card details.

Why do we use this data?

• To organise and carry out your journey, send you the confirmation and reach you on the day of travel (performance of the contract).
• To answer your enquiries and quote requests (pre-contractual steps).
• To issue invoices and meet our accounting and legal obligations (legal obligation).
• To measure website traffic and the effectiveness of our advertising (legitimate interest or consent, depending on the cookie).

How long do we keep it?

• Booking and invoicing data: ten years, the retention period for accounting records.
• Contact and quote requests that are not followed up: three years after the last exchange.
• Cookies: thirteen months at most.

Who has access to your data?

Your data is used by NJ TRANSPORT and by the chauffeur in charge of your journey. It is neither sold nor rented. It may be processed by our technical service providers, solely for the needs of the service:

• IONOS (hosting of the website and e-mails);
• Google (Google Ads advertising, Google Maps for address entry, reCAPTCHA against spam, display fonts);
• Automattic (Jetpack traffic statistics);
• Trustindex (display of Google reviews);
• WhatsApp, if you choose to contact us that way;
• Stripe (secure online card payment).

Some of these providers are established outside the European Union or may transfer data there. Such transfers are governed by the mechanisms provided for by the GDPR.

Cookies and trackers

The website uses cookies that are necessary for it to work, as well as trackers placed by third-party services: audience measurement (Jetpack), advertising and conversion tracking (Google Ads), maps and anti-spam protection (Google).

You can refuse or delete these cookies at any time in your browser settings.

Your rights

You have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict and object to the processing of your data, and the right to data portability. To exercise these rights, write to us at contact@niceairporttransfer.fr stating your request; we reply within one month.

If you believe your rights are not being respected, you may lodge a complaint with the French data protection authority, the CNIL: www.cnil.fr.

Security

We take reasonable measures to protect your data: encrypted connection (HTTPS), restricted access to the website administration and the choice of recognised providers.

This policy may be updated to reflect changes to the website or to regulations. The date of the last update is shown below.
