The event

Cannes Film Festival at a glance

The Cannes Film Festival is the world’s leading cinema event. Every year, in May, directors, producers, actors, distributors and journalists gather on La Croisette for around twelve days. Alongside the Festival, the Marché du Film brings together industry professionals.

During the Festival, the town is alive day and night: screenings, red-carpet arrivals, meetings in the hotels, parties on the beaches and in the villas on the hills. La Croisette is largely closed to traffic and access changes from one hour to the next.

It is on these busy days that a private chauffeur really proves his worth: he knows the access points, drops you as close as possible and waits for you after each appointment.

On site

Where does the Cannes Film Festival take place?

The Festival is centred on the Palais, but Festival life spreads across the whole bay. Here are the places where our chauffeurs are most often expected.

The Palais des Festivals

This is where the official screenings, the red carpet and the Marché du Film take place. The surrounding area is strictly controlled; your chauffeur drops you at the closest authorised point. Tickets, invitations and accreditation are not included.

The hotels on La Croisette

The Carlton, the Martinez, the Majestic and the other grand addresses host meetings, breakfasts and receptions. Give us the name of the hotel and the recommended entrance: each property has its own arrival instructions.

Beaches, villas and evening events

Much of the Festival happens in the evening, on the beaches of La Croisette, in the villas of La Californie or at Cap d’Antibes. Give us the exact address and the expected end time: your chauffeur waits to take you back.

Getting around

Your journeys during the Cannes Film Festival

From the first flight to the last appointment, here are the journeys we handle most often during the Cannes Film Festival.

Arrival at Nice Airport

Your chauffeur waits in the arrivals hall with a sign bearing your name, then drives you to your hotel in Cannes. For a team arriving on several flights, we arrange the pickups one by one.

Between your accommodation and the event

Many participants stay outside Cannes, in Antibes, Mandelieu, Mougins or Nice. A transfer morning and evening means you do not depend on public transport during the Cannes Film Festival.

Evenings and departure

For a dinner in Mougins, Antibes or Cap d’Antibes, your chauffeur drives you there and back, whatever the time. On the last day, book your slot to the airport in advance: demand is very high.

Every schedule is different. Send us yours, even if incomplete: we will tell you what can be booked ride by ride and what deserves a chauffeur at your disposal.

Prepare your business trip

Your appointments set the pace

Share call times and the organiser’s access instructions. Drop-off points are agreed around local restrictions; arrange accreditation and red-carpet access separately.

Whether flying from Paris or another city, your air journey ends at Nice Côte d’Azur Airport. Share your flight number, terminal and full hotel address. Meet & greet with a name sign and flight tracking support your private transfer to the agreed destination.

Plan the airport return too: flight time, pickup address and time for airport procedures. During an event, traffic and venue access may change; forward the latest instructions you receive.

For meetings, receptions and successive appointments, request a chauffeur service. Give start and end times, locations and waiting requirements; availability and terms are confirmed in your quote.

Teams & multiple vehicles

Our commitments

Why book a chauffeur for the Cannes Film Festival

During the Cannes Film Festival, Cannes moves to a different rhythm: heavy traffic, restricted access, vehicles in high demand. Here is what a chauffeur booked in advance brings you.

A price known before you leave

Each transfer has a price fixed when you book; each chauffeur-at-disposal request is quoted. You control your budget, with no surprise at the end of your stay.

Your flight tracked in real time

We track your plane and adjust the pickup to your actual arrival. At Nice Airport, waiting is included for up to one hour after landing.

Chauffeurs who know the access points

French and English speaking, they know where to drop off and where to wait when streets are restricted, and adapt the route to the traffic.

A chauffeur at your disposal

For a day of meetings, the same chauffeur stays with you: he waits after each appointment, early in the morning or late at night.

Our experience

Our tips for the Cannes Film Festival

A few habits that really make the stay easier.

Book as soon as your dates are set

Chauffeur-driven vehicles are in high demand during the Cannes Film Festival, especially on the first and last days. The earlier you plan, the wider the choice.

Bring your team together

A V-Class carries up to seven people. For a team sharing the same hotel and the same diary, it is often the simplest solution.

Send us your schedule

With the list of your appointments, we can offer a chauffeur at your disposal for the day: a single chauffeur who adapts when a meeting overruns.

One last tip: during the Festival, always allow more time than usual. A ten-minute drive can take thirty at the time of a red-carpet arrival.

The conditions

Prices, waiting time and cancellation

The rules are the same as for all our journeys. They are set out in full in our terms and conditions of sale.

The price

It depends on the route, the time and the vehicle, and includes fuel, tolls and the luggage declared. Chauffeur-at-disposal requests are quoted.

Waiting time

At the airport, it is included for up to one hour after the aircraft lands; elsewhere, thirty minutes are included. Beyond that, waiting is charged at €50 per hour.

Cancellation

Free of charge more than 48 hours before departure, 50% between 48 and 24 hours, 100% less than 24 hours before. Let us know as soon as your plans change.

Before you book

Cannes Film Festival: your questions

Where can your chauffeur drop me during the Festival?

At the authorised point closest to your destination. La Croisette and the area around the Palais are largely closed; pass on the access instructions from your hotel or your invitation.

Do you provide tickets or accreditation for the Festival?

No. We provide transport only. Tickets, invitations and accreditation are obtained from the organiser of the Festival or the Marché du Film.

I am staying outside Cannes during the Cannes Film Festival: is that a problem?

No, it is very common. We handle daily journeys from Antibes, Mandelieu, Mougins or Nice. Give us your times for each day.

Can I book a chauffeur for the whole event?

Yes, as a chauffeur at your disposal by the day. Give us the dates, start and end times and the main places: the proposal is quoted.

Do you organise transfers for a delegation?

Yes. For several arrivals, several vehicles or a group spread across different hotels, send the list of passengers and flights: we coordinate everything.

How do I find the price of a transfer?

Enter your route, date and vehicle in the online booking: the price is shown before you validate anything. For a chauffeur at your disposal, ask for a quote.

What happens if my flight is delayed?

We track your flight and adjust the pickup time. At Nice Airport, waiting is included for up to one hour after landing.

Do your chauffeurs speak English?

Yes, our chauffeurs speak French and English. Your guests and colleagues are welcomed in their own language.
