Grand Prix de Monaco — destination view

The event

Monaco Grand Prix at a glance

The Monaco Grand Prix is the most famous race in the Formula 1 championship. Every year, in spring, the cars take to the streets of the Principality, between Port Hercule, the Casino and the tunnel.

During the Grand Prix, Monaco is transformed: the circuit uses the city streets, many roads are closed and access is controlled. Spectators make their way to their grandstands, terraces or the yachts moored along the track, often from Nice, Cannes or the airport.

It is on these busy days that a private chauffeur really proves his worth: he knows the access points, drops you as close as possible and waits for you after each appointment.

Where does the Monaco Grand Prix take place?

The Grand Prix takes over the whole heart of Monaco. Here are the places where our chauffeurs are most often expected.

The circuit and its access points

The track runs through the city, which closes a large part of the streets during sessions. Your chauffeur drops you at the authorised point closest to your grandstand or access gate; the rest is on foot. Tickets are not included.

The hotels of the Principality

The Hôtel de Paris, the Hermitage, the Fairmont and the other grand addresses host meetings, lunches and receptions. Give us the name of the hotel and the recommended entrance: each property has its own arrival instructions.

Terraces and yachts

Many guests watch the Grand Prix from a private terrace or a yacht in Port Hercule. Give us the address or the name of the boat, and your host’s contact: access depends on passes.

Getting around

Your journeys during the Monaco Grand Prix

From the first flight to the last appointment, here are the journeys we handle most often during the Monaco Grand Prix.

Arrival at Nice Airport

Your chauffeur waits in the arrivals hall with a sign bearing your name, then drives you to your hotel in Monaco. For a team arriving on several flights, we arrange the pickups one by one.

Between your accommodation and the event

Many participants stay outside Monaco, in Beausoleil, Cap-d’Ail, Roquebrune, Menton or Nice. A transfer morning and evening means you do not depend on public transport during the Monaco Grand Prix.

Evenings and departure

For a dinner in Monaco, Èze or Cap-Ferrat, your chauffeur drives you there and back, whatever the time. On the last day, book your slot to the airport in advance: demand is very high.

Every schedule is different. Send us yours, even if incomplete: we will tell you what can be booked ride by ride and what deserves a chauffeur at your disposal.

Prepare your business trip

Your appointments set the pace

Agree an accessible collection point outside closed areas for your return. Transport includes neither race tickets nor access passes.

Whether flying from Paris or another city, your air journey ends at Nice Côte d’Azur Airport. Share your flight number, terminal and full hotel address. Meet & greet with a name sign and flight tracking support your private transfer to the agreed destination.

Plan the airport return too: flight time, pickup address and time for airport procedures. During an event, traffic and venue access may change; forward the latest instructions you receive.

Our commitments

Why book a chauffeur for the Monaco Grand Prix

During the Monaco Grand Prix, Monaco moves to a different rhythm: heavy traffic, restricted access, vehicles in high demand. Here is what a chauffeur booked in advance brings you.

A price known before you leave

Each transfer has a price fixed when you book; each chauffeur-at-disposal request is quoted. You control your budget, with no surprise at the end of your stay.

Your flight tracked in real time

We track your plane and adjust the pickup to your actual arrival. At Nice Airport, waiting is included for up to one hour after landing.

Chauffeurs who know the access points

French and English speaking, they know where to drop off and where to wait when streets are restricted, and adapt the route to the traffic.

A chauffeur at your disposal

For a day of meetings, the same chauffeur stays with you: he waits after each appointment, early in the morning or late at night.

Our experience

Our tips for the Monaco Grand Prix

A few habits that really make the stay easier.

Book as soon as your dates are set

Chauffeur-driven vehicles are in high demand during the Monaco Grand Prix, especially on the first and last days. The earlier you plan, the wider the choice.

Bring your team together

A V-Class carries up to seven people. For a team sharing the same hotel and the same diary, it is often the simplest solution.

Send us your schedule

With the list of your appointments, we can offer a chauffeur at your disposal for the day: a single chauffeur who adapts when a meeting overruns.

One last tip: during the Grand Prix, leave early. The roads into the Principality are very busy before each session and street closure times are strict.

The conditions

Prices, waiting time and cancellation

The rules are the same as for all our journeys. They are set out in full in our terms and conditions of sale.

The price

It depends on the route, the time and the vehicle, and includes fuel, tolls and the luggage declared. Chauffeur-at-disposal requests are quoted.

Waiting time

At the airport, it is included for up to one hour after the aircraft lands; elsewhere, thirty minutes are included. Beyond that, waiting is charged at €50 per hour.

Cancellation

Free of charge more than 48 hours before departure, 50% between 48 and 24 hours, 100% less than 24 hours before. Let us know as soon as your plans change.

Before you book

Monaco Grand Prix: your questions

How far can your chauffeur take me during the Grand Prix?

To the authorised drop-off point closest to your access gate. As the circuit streets are closed, pass on the information shown on your ticket or given by your host.

Do you provide tickets for the Monaco Grand Prix?

No. We provide transport only. Tickets and access to grandstands, terraces or yachts are obtained from the organiser or your host.

I am staying outside Monaco during the Monaco Grand Prix: is that a problem?

No, it is very common. We handle daily journeys from Beausoleil, Cap-d’Ail, Roquebrune, Menton or Nice. Give us your times for each day.

Can I book a chauffeur for the whole event?

Yes, as a chauffeur at your disposal by the day. Give us the dates, start and end times and the main places: the proposal is quoted.

Do you organise transfers for a delegation?

Yes. For several arrivals, several vehicles or a group spread across different hotels, send the list of passengers and flights: we coordinate everything.

How do I find the price of a transfer?

Enter your route, date and vehicle in the online booking: the price is shown before you validate anything. For a chauffeur at your disposal, ask for a quote.

What happens if my flight is delayed?

We track your flight and adjust the pickup time. At Nice Airport, waiting is included for up to one hour after landing.

Do your chauffeurs speak English?

Yes, our chauffeurs speak French and English. Your guests and colleagues are welcomed in their own language.
