Arriving at Nice Airport: how to find your chauffeur
After a flight, the last thing you want is to work out where to go. Here is, step by step, how the pick-up works at Nice Côte d’Azur Airport, from leaving the plane to reaching the car.

01 · The place
Two terminals, one way of working
Nice Airport has two terminals, Terminal 1 and Terminal 2. Your ticket or boarding pass shows which one your flight uses. You do not need to tell us: with your flight number, we know where to wait for you.
The route is the same in both terminals. You collect your luggage, go through the doors of the baggage hall and reach the public arrivals hall. That is where your chauffeur is.
02 · The meeting
Where and how to find your chauffeur
Your chauffeur waits in the arrivals hall with a sign bearing your name, or your company’s name if you prefer. He helps with your luggage and walks you to the vehicle, parked close by.
Before you travel: give your flight number and a mobile phone number when you book.
On landing: switch your phone back on. If you do not see your chauffeur straight away, a call or a message is all it takes.
If in doubt: stay in the arrivals hall of your terminal. That is the meeting point.
03 · The unexpected
Late flight, slow luggage: what happens?
We follow your flight. If the plane lands later than planned, your chauffeur adjusts his arrival: you do not need to let us know.
Once the plane has landed, waiting time is included for up to one hour. That is usually more than enough to clear passport control and collect a suitcase. Beyond that, waiting is charged, as set out in our terms.
If a bag does not arrive and you need to file a report, simply phone your chauffeur: he will work around it.
04 · Our tips
Four habits for a stress-free arrival
- Book ahead, especially in summer and during major events.
- Tell us the number of passengers and bags: it decides the vehicle, saloon or V-Class.
- Mention a child seat, a wheelchair or bulky luggage when you book.
- Keep our number to hand: it is in your confirmation.
As for the journey itself, it depends on where you are going. Our Nice city centre, Cannes and Monaco pages give the usual travel times.
Before you go
Terminal maps and flight information
Official information (times, access, programme) is published on the Nice Côte d’Azur Airport website. We recommend checking it a few days before you travel, as details can change.
There you will find maps of both terminals, live flight times and the services available on arrival. It is also where works or changes to the way the airport is organised are announced.
If you are booking for someone else, a relative, a client or a guest who does not know Nice Airport, simply pass on the chauffeur’s name and the number shown in the confirmation. Your chauffeur will be waiting in the arrivals hall, sign in hand, and can let you know once the pick-up has taken place if you wish.
Finally, remember to give a full destination address, with the name of the hotel or residence: the journey starts as soon as you leave the terminal, with no stop to look up the route. If your plans change after you land, a call to your chauffeur is enough to adjust the drop-off.
Booking your chauffeur in practice
Whatever your journey, booking follows the same steps.
- You tell us your journey. Pick-up address, destination, date, time, number of passengers and bags: the online booking form shows the price before you confirm anything.
- You choose your vehicle. Mercedes E-Class or S-Class saloon for up to three passengers, V-Class for up to seven.
- You receive a confirmation. It sums up your journey and the pick-up time.
- Your chauffeur is waiting. At the airport, he follows your flight and waiting time is included for up to one hour after landing.
Payment is by card online or in cash. Cancellation is free of charge more than 48 hours before departure. For a special request, a group or a chauffeur at your disposal, write to us: we reply with a quote.
