MAPIC 2026 in Cannes: planning your transfers from Nice Airport

On 3 and 4 November 2026, MAPIC brings retail property professionals to the Palais des Festivals in Cannes. Two busy days, with arrivals packed into a few hours: here is how to plan your journeys.

01 · The show

MAPIC in a few words

MAPIC is the international retail property event: retailers, landlords, investors, shopping-centre operators and food and leisure brands meet to agree new locations and present their projects.

Dates: Tuesday 3 and Wednesday 4 November 2026.

Venue: Palais des Festivals et des Congrès, boulevard de la Croisette, Cannes.

Badges: from the organiser only. Check opening times on its website before booking flights.

02 · The journey

From Nice Airport to the Palais des Festivals

In normal conditions, allow 35 to 45 minutes by the A8 motorway. As the show is short, most participants arrive the evening before or on Tuesday morning: that is when the area around the Palais and the Croisette is busiest.

Your chauffeur waits in the arrivals hall with a sign bearing your name, follows your flight and drops you at your hotel or at the authorised point closest to the Palais.

03 · On site

Two days, many meetings

  • Hotels: if you are staying outside Cannes, in Antibes, Mandelieu or Mougins, book your return journeys in advance.
  • Dinners: evenings take place in restaurants on the Croisette, in Le Suquet and nearby. Give us the address and expected end time.
  • Teams: the V-Class carries up to seven people; beyond that, we coordinate several vehicles.

For a tight schedule, a chauffeur at your disposal for the day saves booking each journey separately.

04 · The way back

Leaving on Wednesday evening

The show ends on Wednesday: many participants head for the airport in the late afternoon, when traffic towards Nice is already heavy. Allow a margin and book your return together with your arrival.

All the details are on our Nice Airport to Cannes transfer page and in our Cannes events calendar.

Before you go

MAPIC programme and registration

Official information (times, access, programme) is published on the MAPIC website. We recommend checking it a few days before you travel, as details can change.

The organiser publishes the conference programme, the exhibitor list and registration details there.

MAPIC lasts only two days: every hour counts. Many participants arrive on the first flight on Tuesday and leave on Wednesday evening. In that case, plan a direct transfer from the airport to the Palais des Festivals, luggage included: your chauffeur can then drop your suitcases at the hotel while you are in meetings.

For MAPIC teams spread over several flights, we group arrivals that are close together in one V-Class and organise staggered departures for the others. A single contact follows all the journeys over the two days.

Booking your chauffeur in practice

Whatever your journey, booking follows the same steps.

  • You tell us your journey. Pick-up address, destination, date, time, number of passengers and bags: the online booking form shows the price before you confirm anything.
  • You choose your vehicle. Mercedes E-Class or S-Class saloon for up to three passengers, V-Class for up to seven.
  • You receive a confirmation. It sums up your journey and the pick-up time.
  • Your chauffeur is waiting. At the airport, he follows your flight and waiting time is included for up to one hour after landing.

Payment is by card online or in cash. Cancellation is free of charge more than 48 hours before departure. For a special request, a group or a chauffeur at your disposal, write to us: we reply with a quote.
